Privacy notice

Your work stays under your direction.

Effective: August 19, 2026 · Early-access notice

This notice describes the current limited Windows preview of Concernia. It will be revised before broader public distribution if data practices or services change.

What Concernia is

Concernia is a locally operated coordination application that lets a person organize authorized work across AI services and local model runtimes. Provider accounts, subscriptions, and source conversations remain separate.

Data processed locally

The application may store room configuration, participant profiles, selected excerpts, decisions, consent records, connection references, audit events, and generated work on the user’s computer. Sensitive application state is designed to be retained in encrypted local storage.

Data sent to AI providers

When the user authorizes a turn, Concernia sends the selected task and permitted context to the chosen provider or local runtime. That provider processes the data under its own terms, privacy policy, account settings, and retention rules. Concernia does not authorize a provider turn merely by linking a session.

Credentials

Concernia is designed to use official authentication methods or user-provided API credentials. Credentials should remain in protected local application storage and must never be pasted into rooms, messages, screenshots, or support emails.

Provenance limits

Concernia may record the connector used, the content received, and integrity information inside the local room. This does not by itself prove that generated content is true, that a civil identity authored it, or that a declared platform endorses it.

Website data

This initial informational website does not offer user accounts or upload forms. Standard hosting infrastructure may process technical request data such as IP address, browser information, timestamps, and security logs.

Retention and deletion

Local records remain on the user’s device until the user removes them through the application or its local data controls. Removing a Concernia link does not delete the source conversation held by an external provider.
